ColorCub Arrives on the App Store

ColorCub launched on the App Store on July 21, 2025. The app starts with a simple creative prompt: describe a coloring-page idea, generate it, and decide whether to color it on the screen or print it for paper.

It was built for the moment when a child or parent has a very specific idea that a standard coloring book does not contain. The request can be typed or spoken, so a prompt can begin as naturally as “a friendly dragon at the beach” or “a race car on the moon.”

From an idea to a page

ColorCub turns the prompt into a black-and-white coloring page. From there, the page can be colored in the app, saved, shared, or printed.

The workflow is intentionally short:

1. Describe the page you want.
2. Generate a custom illustration.
3. Color it with the on-screen tools or print it.
4. Save or share the finished page.

The app is designed for iPhone and iPad. A larger iPad screen works well for drawing together, while printing makes it easy to move the activity away from the device entirely.

A bridge between screen and paper

ColorCub is not meant to make paper coloring obsolete. Printing is part of the product. A generated page can become a quiet activity at a table, something to bring on a trip, or a project shared between a child and an adult.

The digital tools are there when they are useful: generating an unusual idea, trying colors, saving a finished picture, or sending it to someone. Paper remains an equally valid destination.
