Ereps Joins Thirty Seven

Thirty Seven completed the acquisition of the assets behind Ereps in July 2023. We acquired the product because we saw durable potential in rehabilitation software and an opportunity to steward a useful clinician workflow.

Ereps had already been serving clinics since 2014. Rather than start with a blank slate, the acquisition gave Thirty Seven an established product to operate, maintain, and improve over time.

Why rehabilitation software

Exercise prescription sits at the intersection of clinical judgment and everyday follow-through. A practitioner needs to choose an appropriate program, explain it clearly, deliver it in a form the patient can use, and understand whether progress is being made.

The acquisition decision was informed by close clinical perspective. Cameron's wife is a doctor of physical therapy and could help evaluate the day-to-day problem the product addresses. That perspective helped us assess the workflow and the category; it does not turn the software into medical advice or replace a clinician's judgment.

We saw room to preserve what was useful in Ereps while making the product clearer, more dependable, and easier to operate.

What Ereps provides

Ereps is web-based exercise prescription software for rehabilitation professionals. It helps clinicians:

• Build programs from a searchable exercise database.
• Follow staged rehabilitation protocols with progression criteria.
• Send programs to patients by email or print them.
• Collect and score supported outcome measures.
• Review changes in those measures over time.

Because Ereps runs in a browser, a clinic does not need to install separate desktop software for every practitioner. Patients can receive their program without installing an app.

What joining Thirty Seven means

Thirty Seven owns and operates software, not just launch projects. For Ereps, that means taking responsibility for the existing service, keeping it available, addressing operational needs, and making measured product improvements.

The work is ongoing. Rehabilitation software has to be useful in a busy clinical setting, understandable to the people using it, and maintained with care. Those are the standards we intend to keep applying to Ereps.
